Updated: Jan 1, 2021

A natural product nursery is situated in the focal point of the district it serves. The best soils are medium and light topsoil’s and sandy soils of Soddy-podzol, woods steppe, dark, earthy colored, chestnut, and chernozem.

Many people want to know about the nursery of apples. Which we will give you some information about it today. You can grow apples with apple seeds, but keep in mind one thing that the type of apple tree you get from it will not be the same as the seed you have sown. For example, if you sow granny smith apple seed, you might not even get granny smith apple tree. This may be a different type of apple than the lineage of Granny Smith Apple. If you want to grow an apple tree from seed, then there are some things, by which you can increase your chance of being successful.

If you want the apple to bear fruit, then instead of growing an apple tree from seed, you are advised to buy a plant from nursery. For information on the correct way to plant a small plant, see our other articles related to it. If you also want to plant an apple tree, then firstly you need to keep these things in mind.

1. As soon as you remove the seeds from the fruit and take out even the slightest part of the fruit on the seed, then you should put them out to dry. This means, until the moisture of the outer shell dries, allow it to air-dry.

2. Place the paper towels and seeds in a sealed plastic bag, in a lid jar or in a Tupperware box. Whatever your container is, just confirm that it is sealed. If you want, if you have peat moss, then you can also use peat moss instead of paper towels.

3. The seed needs a cold temperature called after-ripping for some time. During this time, roots and sprouts will start coming out of the seed. It is necessary to keep them there for 70 to 80 days. Try to keep the seed holding temperature between 40 and 50ºF (4.4 to 10ºC) with an optimal temperature of 40 to 41ºF (4.4 to 5ºC). If possible, do it during the real cold, so that when you take the seeds out of the fridge, they come in the real season. Planting your sprouts in the early spring after the last frost will give better results.

4. It is very important to keep the towels wet while the seeds are in the fridge, so keep checking them daily. However, remember one thing, sprouts will not come out of the seed while in the fridge.

5. It is ne5essary to plant your seeds on a seedbed prepared outside or in a pot. Use a good potting mix. Apple seeds grow better with neutral pH level soils. Fill the pot with soil and create a space in the soil that is one to two times larger than the sprouted seed. Do not add fertilizer. There is no need for this, however, if you want to give seeds and extra boost, you can add leaf mulch or compost to it.

6. Place the seeds in the soil and then cover them, confirming to keep them comfortably tapped down into the soil. Water the seeds immediately, so that the soil settles around the seed and the soil name remains.

7. After several weeks of planting, your seed will start giving small leaves. From here they will start to become long and strong. Keep them in the pots until the risk of frost (snowfall) is over and they become strong. If you feel that plants are coming out of the pot from the seed, then transplant it in a big pot and keep giving daily water.
