Gulmarg Gandola

Drung Waterfall
The Drung Waterfall opposite to resort is an extremely popular tourist attraction located in the Tangmarg tehsil of Gulmarg, Baramulla. A cascading waterfall set amidst majestic mountains, it freezes completely during winter due to the extremely low temperature. This frozen waterfall is a must-visit in the area.
The cascading waterfall mixes with the water that originates from the magnificent glaciers and makes for an unforgettable sight. During the summers, one can spend some quiet time here while enjoying views of the waterfall, lakes, streams, surrounding greenery as well as explore the caves.
Rangmarg View Point
Perched cozily upon the slopes of the Pir Panjal range, Tangmarg is a quaint little town that makes for a perfect stopover and one of the best places to visit in Gulmarg. It is situated at a distance of about 13 km from Gulmarg and nearly 39 km from Srinagar. In winters the route from Tangmarg to Gulmarg is a thick blanket of white snow.
Ruins Of Pandu Temple

For several years, Kashmir was ruled by two Hindu dynasties Karkota and Gonanadya. An ancient book, recorded by a contemporary author named Kalhana in his book Rajtarangini, tells us that Lalitaditya Muktapida, the warrior emperor of Karkota dynasty of Kashmir who ruled from 693 AD to 729 AD over area spreading from Kashmir to Bengal to Karnataka and many parts of central Asia, supposedly built this temple.
